"She Makes Shyness a Language" Tote Bag of Original Art, Hand Printed & Hand Painted: Brown Skinned Autistic Tamil Woman

This is a cotton canvas tote bag, with original artwork by me, Samirah the Sapphic Siren. I made this bag to show the beauty of brown & dark skinned femmes, tamil women, and autistic people who communicate nonverbally. We make shyness a language. Unfortunately, due to colorism, many of us are seen as "rude" but I don't see us that way. We might be "othered" by society but I see us as beautiful, expressive, divine, and otherworldly 💐

DETAILS: This is my original painting. I hand print it onto cotton canvas, then I hand paint details on top. Each bag is one of a kind, and the details may vary from the image. I put a lot of care into the color. Due to colorist technology, it is extremely hard to find printers that print brown and dark skin with the vibrance and saturation we deserve. So, I decided to do it myself. All printing and painting labor is by me, and the bag itself is sourced from a local artist. It is washable, on the cold setting. Tumble Dry. Do not Iron.
